October 2023 in the Galleries at Artists & Makers Studios

Artists & Makers Studios on Parklawn Drive in Rockville is delighted to host New Image Artists for the month of October. The exhibit, “Long View 2” runs from October 4th through October 25th at Artists & Makers Studios, with an opening reception on Friday, October 6th, 5 – 8pm. “Long View 2” is an exhibition by members of the New Image Artists.  New Image celebrates the diversity of expression of its members’ individual styles. The members are professional studio artists who work primarily with fabric, paper and alternative materials. This exhibition features a collection of work showcasing the uniqueness of each artists’ vision and media while being challenged to create in a vertical format. Exhibiting artists – B.J. Adams, Mary Beth Bellah, Linda Colsh, Joan Dreyer, Candace Edgerley, Lesly-Claire Greenberg, Catherine Kleeman, Verena Levine, Dominie Nash, Ginny Smith, Andrea Uravitch, and Saaraliisa Ylitalo.

Enjoy additional exhibits – “Beautifully Strange” with Resident Artists – on view in the Gallery Hall, along with nineteen Gallery 209 Member Artists exhibiting their latest work.
